The chakra system is divided into seven zones, with each area having energy that must flow freely. When the chakras are balanced, the whole body works in harmony and we feel elevated and energized.

It is believed that blocked energy in a particular chakra or multiple chakras can lead to illness or dis-ease in those areas of the body. Chakra meditation is a form of guided visualisation meditation that consists of relaxation techniques focused on bringing balance, relaxation and well-being to the chakras.
